7 Things for June
While summer may not officially start until the solstice, we are in full on summer mode over here. Just two days left of school and the weather certainly has longing for pool days and outdoor adventures. With long, sunny days ahead, here are 7 things for June!
One. Kosmatology Bug Repellent Balm
Newly relaunched in a larger size and with eco-friendly packaging, this bug repellent keeps the bugs away naturally. It’s very easy to apply straight from the push up tube. We generally apply it right from the tube and then rub it in to make sure we didn’t miss any spots. It’s safe for the whole family and does a great job of keeping pesky gnats, mosquitoes, and more away. Find it here.
Two. Suntegrity Impeccable Skin SPF 30
This new launch from Suntegrity is perfect for summer. This foundation is light weight and moisturizing. It also lays perfectly under the rest of your makeup or offers great coverage when worn alone. It’s replaced my long beloved 5-in-1 primer from Suntegrity and I love that it offers sun protection without any white cast. I’ve heard through the grapevine that they’ll be adding some darker shades soon too! Find it here.
Three. Reef Safe, Non-toxic Sunblock
Speaking of SPF, there are a ton of great options for the whole family! I have all of my favorites listed in this post. Not only are they all non-toxic, but if you’re headed somewhere this summer that has banned certain sunscreen chemicals due to reef safety, rest assured they will all fit the bill!
Four. Aether Summer Solstice Palette
All of the palettes from Aether Beauty make me swoon and this new one is no exception! It has a similar mix of matte and shimmery shades as the Rose Quartz palette, but the colors have a warmer tone with peaches, gold, and rich brown tones. Their colors are absolutely stunning and the eco-friendly palette makes it even better. Shop it here.
Five. Groovy Lab Box
If you’re looking for a fun activity for kids this summer, we’ve found a box that gives them a fun science activity that also provides some STEM learning. It’s for ages 8 & up and Carson is so excited about it. Our first box has several activities including building a weather station, rain gauge, and more. We’re saving it for the first day of break later this week! You can subscribe here. You can get 50% off the first month’s box with code : STEMHALFOFF.

Six. Iced Matcha Latte
Matcha is just so good for you and so delicious once you’ve nailed the right recipe, but I have zero desire to drink hot beverages this time of year. The solution? Iced Matcha Lattes! I’ve been using this recipe on repeat from What Molly Made (No, it’s not me, but I appreciate another Molly in the world coming up with this delicious recipe!). I love how creamy it tastes with the oat milk and the Maca is a nice addition. The purest matcha I’ve found is Encha. Shop them here on Amazon.
Seven. Subtle Summer Pout
I’ve been using this Olio E Osso Balm on repeat as of late. It gives just a hint of color (almost like a popsicle stained look, depending on the shade) and is super moisturizing. My favorite shades are Spring, French Melon, and Blush Shimmer. Find them here.
Happy start of summer!
