I’ve said it before, but I love a good hair care Discovery from Beauty Heroes! And the latest one happens to feature a brand I know and love: Innersense. BRAND NEW from Innersense: Overnight Repair Serum. This is designed to repair visible damage while you sleep. You apply it to either damp or dry hair before bed- just apply it to mid-length down. Then you wake up to smoother, softer hair in the morning.
This uses hydrolyzed moringa protein to rebuild hair strands and then tamanu oil and more help to moisturize and smooth your hair. So far I’m loving this serum for a nice reset if my hair is feeling dry and fried. We have a sauna, and many times I’ll multi-task by applying a deep conditioner or repair product right before I get in. The heat speeds up absorption and makes hair products go a little deeper. I can’t wait to test this out in my sauna, but it’s been wayyy too hot to sauna lately. Maybe next month 🙂
Air Dry Styling Cream | 6 oz | ($30 retail)
Sometimes I see a mainstream, conventional hair line launch a product and think “I wish we had a natural version of that”. I guess wishes do come true, because I wanted this type of product, but all the products on the market were not natural formulas. But hello to this Air Dry Styling Cream that really came at the perfect time. Have I mentioned how hot it is? And who really wants to break out a hair dryer right now?
As the name implies, this is for when you want to air dry your hair. You apply it to towel-dried hair, and it speeds up drying time, keeps hair smooth, and has light hold. What’s not to love?
Repair Mask | 6 oz | ($34 retail)
My favorite thing about this product is how easy it is to use. It doesn’t create an additional step in your routine. Just use it instead of your normal conditioner every week or so and let it work its magic while you do the rest of your shower things. Then rinse off. It really conditions deeply and helps hair feel softer, smoother, and healthier.
Detox Hair Mask | 6 oz | ($30 retail)
I’m well acquainted with this product and already a fan. It has clay and charcoal to draw out impurities and uses oils and vinegar to soften and add shine. This is great if you’ve had a lot of buildup and just want to purify your hair. Use it right after you shampoo and before you condition.
