Alpyn Beauty Review: Clean, Wildcrafted Skincare for Glowing Skin

If I had to list my top priorities for skincare, Alpyn Beauty would certainly check them all off. It’s sneakily become one of my go-to favorite brands. Not to say I didn’t like it right away, but hey, I have a lot of favorites! It’s hard for one brand to dominate my shelf. But over the years, with each new launch and new product I’ve tried, slowly it’s begun to take over. After realizing how many Alpyn products I use, I think it’s high time I add an Alpyn Beauty review to the blog!
See below for a new product launch that you get early access to!
About Alpyn Beauty
I’ll share my favorite Alpyn products below, but first here’s an overview of the brand:
Alpyn Beauty’s roots run deep in the majestic mountains of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where founder Kendra Kolb Butler drew inspiration from the region’s powerful botanicals. The brand’s story is one of passion for nature, sustainability, and effective skincare solutions, all of which are evident in their product offerings.
Alpyn Beauty prides itself on using high-quality, natural ingredients to create skincare products that promote radiant and healthy skin. Each ingredient is meticulously selected for its specific benefits, whether it be hydration, anti-aging properties, or brightening effects. From wild-harvested plants like arnica and chaga mushrooms to nourishing oils like borage seed and prickly pear, Alpyn Beauty sources only the best ingredients to ensure their products deliver noticeable results.
The products are universally appealing, in my opinion- They work well for most skin types and Aplyn Beauty has covered pretty much all the bases so you can create a complete routine.
Alpyn Beauty Review: My Top Picks
While Alpyn offers many great products, I’ve rounded up my top favorites below.
FYI- I have normal/combo skin which is sometimes sensitive but not usually, so I’ll share my experience with that in mind.
Cleansers
Brightening Bubbling Cleanser– This is a super gentle cleanser, especially for all that it does. It includes AHAs and Papaya & pomegranate enzymes. It brightens and exfoliates while cleansing. I’ve found this to be non-stripping and as mentioned before, a very gentle cleanser. It has a light, silky feel.
Note: it has a new package from what’s shown in the photo. Now it comes in a recyclable plastic tube which is shower-friendly.
Hydrating Cold Cream Cleanser– If you’ve ever used a traditional cold cream, then this will feel nostalgic! They really nailed the feel and experience. It’s great for getting in deep to dissolve dirt, oil, makeup, etc. This is a very moisturizing cleanser that leaves your skin supple, not dry. I was first introduced to it through Beauty Heroes and loved it right away!
Toner
Pore Perfecting Liquid– Is this my favorite Alypn product? I think it may be a tie with another one below, but either way, it’s a staple! This is a leave-on liquid exfoliator with 2% salicylic acid to minimize pores and reveal clearer, brighter-looking skin. Oh, and without a stripping or drying effect. This really makes my skin glow. I use it in the morning but you can use it in the evening if you prefer.
Serums
NEW! Super Sculpt Serum for Neck & Face– This is a brand new launch that isn’t officially out yet, but they’re giving my readers early access this weekend. This is a great solution for tech neck and other neck skin issues. It’s a gel serum that won’t leave your neck (or hair!) oily. It includes the Tri-Peptide Firming Complex: Relaxes the look of fine lines on the face and neck, Prickly Pear & Lactic Acid: Help visibly resurface and smooth lines, and Mountain Cherry: Helps skin appear tighter.
Instant Glow Serum– While I don’t currently have this in rotation, I’ve used it on and off through the years. This is a vitamin C and bearberry-infused serum that quickly delivers a visible glow while fading the appearance of dark spots for a brighter, more even look. It’s packed with great ingredients and I love the lightweight feel that makes it easy to layer with other products.
Moisturizers
Barrier Repair Cream: Firming Peptides & Ghostberry– Since I’ve tried this, I haven’t looked back. It’s my perfect moisturizer! (For those wondering, this is the other one tied for favorite).
This is a rich, restorative barrier repair cream with ceramides, ghostberry and firming peptides to deeply replenish hydration and help relax the appearance of wrinkles. When you see the word RICH, I know you’re thinking HEAVY, and that’s not the case. It sinks into skin so beautifully and yet it gives long-lasting moisture. I can wake up in the middle of winter, with dry air blasting all night, and still have my skin feeling moisturized. On the flip side, it absorbs in so well, I can wear makeup or layer sunscreen on top.
Melt Moisturizer: Bakuchiol & Ceramides– This was previously my top moisturizer until the one above launched. I still consider it a favorite and a great choice for most skin types. It is a bit lighter than the Barrier Repair Cream, so those with oily skin may like it more. Though this also works well for normal or dry skin. This shares the uncanny ability to melt into skin, yet still leave lasting moisture.
Peels
Huckleberry Polishing Peel: 8 Acids & Huckleberry– When my skin is feeling rough and I need a good scrubby scrub, this is my go-to. Not only does it have a physical exfoliator, but it also has 8 natural acids, so your skin is super smooth and bright. This is great to prep skin before big events too! It doesn’t leave me red and makes a smooth canvas for makeup.
Radiance Recovery Peel– If you’re more sensitive, this is the ticket. It still has the 8 (gentle) acids, but instead of a physical scrub, Chamomile & colloidal oatmeal moisturizes and soothes. I go for this if my skin needs more TLC and it also works well.
Lips
Plumping Lip Mask– While technically a mask, you can use it anytime. It’s very moisturizing and stays on, even all night. Some of the star line-up are sweet agave: delivers lip-quenching, skin-smoothing hydration, Hyaluronic Acid: binds moisture, adding visible fullness, and willow bark: exfoliates, smooths, and softens.
This has also changed to new packaging and now comes in a recyclable plastic tube.
This is an all-around great skincare line that really works. While I listed my favorites in this Alpyn Beauty Review, you really can’t go wrong with any of the products!
