Boxwalla continues to surprise me with their well curated beauty boxes and the brands they hand-pick to be included. I was so excited when I found out the two brands that were being featured in the August box. They’re both awesome brands with great ingredients and chic packaging and while I’m familiar with both lines, I will gladly try more products from either line. The theme of the August box is Summer Comes Softly, as all the products are meant to soften your skin (and lips!) and all are rich in antioxidants to fight all that comes with a long summer spend enjoying the sunshine. Basically, they delivered soft, glowing skin in a box this month!

HENNÉ Organics Nordic Berries Lip Exfoliator

First up to bat is HENNÉ Organics. I’m a longtime fan of their lip scrubs and this new one is pretty divine! It has a gorgeous berry pink color and delicious berry scent. It’s a sugar scrub, but it’s also packed with moisturizers, so it leaves lips very smooth and very soft. I love the way my lips feel right after I use this. It’s a perfect way to prep for bold lip colors too!

Odacité Oleosomes Time Release Delivery Crème

I’ve written about Odacité before and for me, they’re still up there as one of the best natural, anti-aging skincare lines. I love the way you can customize your products and routine with their products and tailor it to exactly what your skin needs. Their crème is great because it really draws moisture into your skin with top notch ingredients and it makes a great base for any of their serums that target specific concerns. As the name says, it’s a great delivery system with the added bonus of giving lasting moisture.

Odacité Pa+G Facial Serum

This little power house is made from cold-pressed virgin Papaya oil and Geranium. This serum is meant to target brown spots, hyperpigmentation, and produce a more even skin tone. I find that 2-3 drops mixed into the Delivery Crème works best. I usually do 2 if I’m mixing in more of their serums (I have a few more I use for other concerns like clogged pores and dull skin- I have a laundry list of issues over here!). I don’t have any major skin tone issues, so I don’t know if I’m the best guinea pig for this serum long term, but I can tell that in the short term it’s evened out my skin and helped with some of the little light freckles I get on my nose every summer.

For me a box is worthwhile if they introduce me to stellar brands, give full size products and have great value. This month’s box checks all of those, especially the part about being a great value. The retail price for all of these products would be $131 and you get to try them all at a fraction of that price. Boxwalla is bi-monthly so the next box is coming in October and I have a little sneak peek for you!
