Gift Guide Part I: Les Enfants
Got little ones on your list? It’s amazing how many children’s products are deemed safe but contain things like lead, PVC, vinyl or other components that continue to off gas long after you’ve bought it. Trust me, my kids have plenty of toys that probably meet that criteria, but I love when I can get them something I know is 100% safe. So I’ve compiled a list of non-toxic toys that will put a smile on kids’ faces while keeping them safe!
For the bébés:
This adorable Knitted Bunny Teether because babies can never have enough teethers or cuddly toys. $11.99
Fanfan The Fawn Isn’t this relative of Sophie the Giraffe so adorable? I love how it looks like a little reindeer, perfect for a Christmas present!! $24.99
This Baby Arrival set by Honest would be great for a brand new baby! Sometimes it’s hard to pick toys for the tiniest additions, but diapers are always appreciated. $49.95
Fun fact: Did you know some stuffed animals contain flame retardants? These are building up in toddler’s systems at alarming rates. So isn’t it nice to give them something as adorable as this kitty to cuddle up to at night and know that it’s non-toxic? $20.00
This Grab n’ Go non-toxic finger paint set is perfect for older babies and toddlers looking to express themselves artistically. It’s so safe you can eat it! The ready to mix powders are made from real foods like beets and blueberries. $30
For Toddlers and Preschoolers:
This Skuut Balance bike is not only a blast for kids to ride, but it helps them learn to balance for when they graduate to a big bike. Carson just over his balance bike and even still uses it sometimes, despite having a big boy bike now. I love that it’s wooden and doesn’t have a bunch of plastic on it. $99.99
Green Toys is a great company that makes toys out of recycled plastic, and they ensure that there’s no PVC, Phthalates, or BPA in their toys. I love this fire truck, but they have tons of options! $27.99
Also from Green Toys, is this Tea Set. Both Carson and Annabelle both love pretend play, especially with sets like this! $27.99
How adorable is this DIY Polar Bear Mask by Honest Co.? I think any preschooler would have a blast making this and wearing it! $24.95 or $18.72 for members.
Another hit from Green Toys: These planter kits let kids experience the joy of watching a seed grow into a plant with a little love and water. Carson loves when we get kits like this. Granted, he always tries to drown them waaayyy over water them, but it’s fun to watch it grow day by day together.
Ok, for the vehicle obsessed, we’ve got you covered! This awesome race car is made from bamboo and plant-based paints. Kids will love it, moms will love it. Win, win! $19.95
Wishing the little ones in your life lot’s of joy! xoxo
