Glowing Beets: Merry Merry

Glowing Beets really brought it this month with their December box that has a little something for everyone. Not only am I excited to share this month’s box with you, I’m also VERY excited to share that I’m officially an ambassador for Glowing Beets! They’ve consistently curated awesome boxes and have a very reasonable price point, so I’m honored to share their box with you month after month. I also stand behind the brands they choose and their selection process. I’ve been reviewing their boxes for a while now and the founder is so sweet and really stays on top of making sure they’re offering clean brands that really perform. In celebration of my ambassadorship, we’ve teamed up for an extra special, very merry giveaway over on Instagram. I’m so excited about it! In the meantime, let’s take a look at what was in this month’s box.

December Glowing Beets

Dr. Brite Teeth Whitening Pen

Dr. Brite

I’ve been seeing these around for a while now and was really intrigued about whether these actually worked, so it was a nice surprise to find it in this month’s box. It’s about the size of a highlighter and the end has a button that gently pushes the whitening gel through. The other other end has an oval scrubber-type head (very technical terms here people). Overall, I think it’s easy to apply and to keep in your purse or desk drawer, so you can remember to use it. This version is the peroxide-free mint flavored kind, so it’s great for people who have sensitive teeth and gums. They also make it in a peroxide version. This one says it whitens and brightens your teeth. You apply it to each tooth and let it dry for about two minutes with your mouth open (a little awkward), then avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes. It doesn’t even have to be rinsed off. I do feel like I’ve seen some whitening, but I haven’t had a chance to use it for a prolonged time, so we shall see. In any case, I’m happy to see some alternative teeth whitening products out there!

Fitglow Beauty Redness Rescue Cream

Fitglow Redness Rescue

I haven’t tried much from Fitglow Beauty, but I always see rave reviews, so this was another item I was happy to try out this month. The Redness Rescue Cream is made with calming ingredients to reduce inflammation and has a slight green mineral tint to contract any redness on your skin. But don’t let the green scare you, it blends right in and manages to make any redness disappear. This is a great cream for anyone with rosacea or skin sensitivities that cause redness. It has a light creamy texture and really moisturizes while it calms your skin down.

Sakari Botanicals Rosehip Tea

Sakari Tea

This tea smells and tastes just as gorgeous as it looks. Rosehip tea is high in vitamin C and has a lot of vitamin A, along with other vitamins and minerals. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, so it seriously packs a nutritious punch. I don’t drink a ton of tea, but when it’s so beautiful and so beneficial for me, it’s hard to resist. I’m going to try hard next year to cut down on my coffee and add in more tea, so this was a prefect tea to help win me over a little bit.

me & the girls lip moisturizer lipstick base and topper

me & the girls lip balm

Nothing looks worse with a bold lip color than dry lips. And honestly, nothing feels worse on your lips, right? This moisturizer from me & the girls can be worn over or under your favorite lipstick to help keep your lips looking smooth and feeling good, even when your lipstick is less than moisturizing. This is a great product to include in the colder months!

As always, Glowing Beets has a great price which makes it one of the best deals around for subscription boxes. You can order this month’s box and sign up for a subscription here. I really am so excited for the special giveaway we’ve teamed up for so don’t miss it. Hope everyone is getting their last minute errands and shopping done! xo
