Glowing Beets October Edition

October happens to be a very special month for Glowing Beets.. It’s the one year birthday of Glowing Beets and their stellar monthly beauty box. Over the past year, Glowing Beets has been one of a small handful of natural subscription boxes that have stood out to me. I’ve said it before, but I really dislike sample boxes, so the fact that you get full sized products (plus LARGE travel sizes) in this box each month is awesome. Glowing Beets also consistently picks great products, so each month I’ve been happy with almost everything in the box and their one year birthday box is no exception. It had some old favorites and new finds, but I have to say how happy I am with everything!

Jacq's bath bombs

Jacq’s Organics Hibiscus & Aloe Bath Bomb

You guys already know I’m a huge fan of these and as you probably guessed, Annabelle swiped this as soon as she saw it! This creates the prettiest pink fizz in the bath and smells so gorgeously delicious. I just wrote a full review of these bath bombs a couple months back, and we are still loving them. It’s a great way to add in a little fun to the bath time without turning to products (like Lush’s bath bombs) that have some sketchy ingredients.

Glowing Beets + ShopKnotty

Glowing Beets + ShopKnotty Anniversary Bracelet Collaboration

This delicate rose gold bracelet is so simple and sweet. It has a tiny charm with the Glowing Beets signature beet on it and it’s such a pretty bracelet to wear on it’s own or pair with other jewelry. I really like that Glowing Beets mixes it up and puts non-beauty products in there sometimes too.

Prim Perfume Oil

Prim Botanical Mademoiselle Swell Perfume Oil

This stole the show for me. Honestly, this is the perfume I’ve been looking for since I switched to natural fragrances. It’s feminine, yet sophisticated. It’s definitely a pretty scent, but it also has some depth to it and I’ve been impressed by how long it lingers compared to most natural fragrances. It does fade over time, but instead of disappearing, it just kind of relaxes into a light, but warm floral scent.

LilFox

LilFox Mystic Awakening Rosemary Toning Mist Amethyst Infusion

This mist is a mixture of steam distilled organic rosemary verbenone hydrolat which is infused with amethyst crystals. It has the fresh, uplifting scent of rosemary and seamlessly preps your skin for serums or moisturizers. I really like the chic packaging with the dark glass bottle and black and white labels, too!

LilFox Maracujá Youthful Vixen Face Nectar

Another great find from Lilfox- This face nectar is full of antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and other nourishing ingredients for your skin. Just a couple of drops blend into your skin for a glowy complexion. The directions say to then layer another spritz or two of the toning mist on top and I really find that it helps the nectar to sink even deeper into my skin.

All in all, this month’s box may be one of my favorites so far. I was so excited to see my favorite bath bomb in there and I’m over the moon about discovering Prim’s perfume oil. It’s SO nice.. I can’t stop applying it! I do find Glowing Beets to be a great deal for what’s inside, so it’s a box I really look forward to getting each month.
