H is for love
When it comes to skincare, I’m very picky (if you couldn’t tell). Not only do the ingredients have to be great, but I find myself consistently drawn to the brands that have obviously had a lot of love and attention has been poured into. Those brands tend to have the most synergy and get the most loyal followings. H is for love is definitely in that group. Their products contain unique and creative ingredients that are also chosen for what skin benefits they offer. The streamlined product offerings check all the boxes for what your routine needs with quality and a high level of chicness. Who wouldn’t love their minimalistic bottles and jars on their counter? I’ve had my eye on this line for a while now and after trying it, I can’t wait to tell you about it! They even have a special offer for my readers that I have down below.
A refreshing mist that balances your skin’s pH levels, evens out skin tone and hydrates and softens skin. Toning mists are great for balancing skin and prepping it for treatments or moisturizers. I’ve found this one to be great for all of that and for keeping blemishes in check with it’s touch of witch hazel. There’s just enough in there to have anti-inflammatory and some astringent properties, which calm down your skin. POLLEN also includes rose hydrosol, fractionally distilled aloe, essential oils and more. $42
This is the answer to skin that needs a little something more. It’s like a little TLC for your skin everyday or just when you need it. I found the balm to be soft and melt into my skin immediately. I use it all over or if I’m feeling dry in certain places, I’ll just use it as a spot treatment. A little goes a long way and as long as you don’t use too much (as I did a couple of times) the rich balm absorbs quickly into your skin. I usually wear it over my serums and other treatments, but you can use BARA BALM on it’s own as well. $70
At first glance I thought this would be a lip balm, but it truly is a lip conditioner. It absorbs in deep and helps to keep my lips soft and feeling moisturized without any stickiness or greasiness that some lip balms have. It feels like a concentrated body balm. This has made a permanent place on my nightstand. $17
PROPOLIS Regenerative Face Mask
I was able to try a sample of PROPOLIS and it was yet another hit from H is for love. It’s a powder so you mix it up with a little water and then apply it. I found that it has a slight warming effect on my skin. It has a little bit of a spicy scent, which is pleasant. The mask dries quick, which is always a plus, but the best part are the awesome ingredients. camu camu (which is very high in vitamin c), turmeric, raw cacao, a blend of clays and more work together to nourish your skin and increase blood flow in your skin. $48
I just wrote about this in my Mapleblume box review, but long story short- I really love the sheer wash of color and the moisture this gives my lips. It’s a good one to throw in your bag and keep with you for when you need a little color! $17
I truly love supporting brands who give to those in need, so I have to point out the H is for love gives 11% of their proceeds to organizations like Wellspring International and OUR (read more about that here). Overall this is a brand that keeps things simple, yet still incorporates sophisticated ingredients. I have tempermental skin and all of these products have worked wonderfully for me. As a special deal for my readers, you can use code PURLOVE for 15% off your order until July 4th (can’t be combined with any other special offer). You can shop their whole line here. xo
