Juicy Bamboo Review

Ok, I admit it. Once in a very great while I skip washing my face at night. It rarely happens, but there’s always those occasional late nights or exhausting days where I just can’t seem to go through the motions of washing my face and applying all the toners and creams. I used to keep Pond’s wipes on hand for just such an occasion, but when I looked at the ingredients I quickly realized I’d probably be better off just not washing my face than using those! I have come across a couple cleansing cloths in the natural beauty world but none blew me away and I really couldn’t find one that didn’t dry out quickly due to bad packaging design. Enter Juicy Bamboo by Kaia Naturals: The answer to my late nights, lazy days, quick trips away and after workout grime removal.

Juicy Bamboo pack

These cloths are made from 100% bamboo grass and come in either plastic tub which holds their moisture in nicely, or a pack of individual wipes so you can just toss a couple in your bag if needed. The cloths are made in small batches and soaked in heated and liquified honey, along with vitamins B12, C and E. Their ingredient list is short and safe, just the way I like it. I grilled them about some of the ingredients and how they were sourced and turns out they are not only friendly (even when I’m being my detective, pain in the neck self), but they truly are committed to making sure everything is nontoxic, suitable for sensitive skin and easy to use.

Juicy Bamboo cloths

Juicy Bamboo is not only a cleanser but also a toner. Which is perfect really, because who doesn’t love a multi-purpose product, especially if you’re tight on time? They have a nice fresh scent and ample moisture to clean your whole face and neck. I found them to be pretty moisturizing without leaving a filmy feeling on my face which some cloths have in the past. It does a great job of removing makeup, although I have to approach my mascara a little more boldly than I do the rest of my makeup. They are so quick and easy to use! We have a trip coming up and I’m actually looking forward to taking these with me and skipping some steps in my routine while we’re away.

Buy them here $15.50 or $19.50 for individual packs
