July Beauty Heroes With Graydon Skincare
After all of the natural skincare lines, I’ve tried, one of my most favorite things is when I get introduced to a new-to-me or almost new-to-me line that just blows me away. Seriously, it’s so fun to be surprised with a gorgeous line that works so well! July Beauty Heroes really delivered on that with a brand that I wasn’t familiar with (aside from some haircare I’d previously tried) but is definitely on my radar now.
Graydon Skincare is a beautiful line that encompasses luxury, organic skincare. They source the most potent ingredients they can and often they’re using organic ingredients sourced locally (which is Canada) and through partnerships with fair trade farmers in other areas of the world. If you’ve tried their skincare, then I think you’ll agree that the end result is quite special. If you haven’t tried them yet, then this month’s curation is the perfect introduction at a great value. Let’s dive in!
The Hero
The Full Moon Serum has the most gorgeous aqua blue color and man, does it pack a punch. First, it’s a true serum, meaning it’s very light weight and has a low viscosity, so it absorbs in super fast and doesn’t leave you oily. It has a lot of my favorite ingredients like blue tansy, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin c, along with some unique ones like moth bean extract which studies show to be an excellent natural collagen booster and it gives a concentrated dose of phyto-retinol.
It’s designed to protect skin, pull in moisture, and help cell turn over. I really love how my skin has been with the serum- in the first week or so I could feel the extra hydration boost. The Full Moon Serum is easy to incorporate into any routine since it’s so light. You can just put it on after cleansing and toning and follow with the sidekick product or any combo of your favorite moisturizers. It normally retails for $87
The Sidekick
The Green Cream is the answer to red skin, inflammation, too much oil production and more. It’s a very light gel and you can layer it directly on top of the Full Moon Serum. It also includes moth bean extract which gives a dose of phyto-retinol and many cooling, healing and balancing ingredients.
My combo skin needs a bit more moisture than this serum + gel gives, so I layer Josh Rosebrook’s Vital Balm Cream on top and then enjoy the double punch of this power duo. The Green Cream retails for $43 normally.
As a special bonus, they’ve also included a small sample of Crème Teintée which is their tinted moisturizer, primer, & illuminator.
Ok, big news! Beauty Heroes has decided to open up a month to month option. It costs a little more, but you have more control.
