Mahalo Leahlani
Sometimes is this world of countless skincare products, you stumble upon something so great that you kick yourself for not trying it sooner! That’s how I felt after I finally tried some of Leahlani Skincare’s products. The infamous Mermaid Mask had been splashed upon my different social media countless times and I just couldn’t take it anymore. I NEEDED to try it. Each of the products are handmade using ingredients sourced locally in Hawaii and each product just smells amazing. Like a little piece of Hawaii right there in your bathroom. To top it all off, the prices are very reasonable. I seriously can’t shut up about the products. Friends, strangers, Instagram- everyone’s probably sick of hearing about how much I love these but just for good measure, I wanted to give a full review of all the products I’ve tried from Leahlani.
Honey Love Microdermabrasion 3-in-1:
This product multi-tasks as a mask, cleanser and exfoliator. First off, this smells so yummy! I mean seriously I want to eat it. It’s a gorgeous magenta color with corundum microdermabrasion crystals which settle a bit to the bottom of the jar. You can control how much exfoliation you get by either using a little from the top or stirring it up with the included stir stick to activate more of the crystals. This has raw Hawaiian honey and a blend of soothing botanicals to help soothe and tighten pores. My skin just glows after I use this. Usually I use it as a mask for a few minutes and then rinse it off in the shower- it’s pretty sticky since it has honey in it, so I’ve found that to be the most convenient way to rinse it off. $18
Mermaid Mask:
This teal-green goodness is said to be like a nutrient elixir for your face and it is so true! My skin just drinks this up. With ingredients like luminess algae and chlorella, it packs a powerful punch in the nutrient department but it also has raw honey, sea buckthorn, and a blend of soothing herbs. I mix this mask with a tiny bit of water and leave it on for 30 minutes or so to let it work it’s magic. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and free of blemishes. This is now one of my must-have masks. *at the time of writing this, the Mermaid Mask is sold out so I don’t have anything to link up to and can’t remember the exact price but I’m pretty sure it’s around $23. I will amend this post when it’s back in stock*
A blend of oils, teas, and rosewater which hydrates and nourishes your face. It’s also known as happy hour for your skin! I love using this when I need a little moisture boost or just want my skin to glow a bit more! I think this would work well for all skin types but I could especially see this being a staple for people with dry or mature skin. And did I mention the smell? Like everything else from Leahlani, this has a slightly tropical, soothing scent. Starting at $18
I am struggling to find the words to describe this complex scent. It’s light enough for everyday use but also deep enough for night. I definitely see this as more of a summer scent but I’ve been using it this winter to bring a bit of freshness and Hawaii to these dark, cold days. It’s floral without being overly sweet. I just keep smelling it when I have it on and it makes me happy. $20
Amazing products at great prices, you can’t go wrong! Plus, who doesn’t want to add a little bit of Hawaii into their routine? I can’t wait to try even more products from this amazing line. Mahalo Leahlani for creating these gems! xo
The mermaid mask is on it’s way to me as we speak
Yay! It is one of my favorites- you will love it Tiffany!
These sound lovely! I definitely am eyeing this brand and their wonderful masks in particular.
I’ve loved everything I’ve tried from this brand so far! If you get anything, I’d say go with the Mermaid mask or Honey Love. You can’t go wrong with either of those!
What a lovely review..have you tried siren serum ..how is it different from champagne serum ?
Anusha,
Thanks so much! I actually haven’t tried the Siren Serum, so I can’t really speak to that. I will say the Champagne Serum is excellent for when my skin needs a pick me up and some extra moisture. Thanks for reading xox
