Mapleblume: Clean Beauty Meets Luxury
Mapleblume may be one of the new kids on the block when it comes to subscription boxes, but clearly they’ve already proven they know their stuff when it comes to the best of the best clean beauty products that perform. Mapleblume has consistently curated great boxes and partnered with some amazing brands. Each box seems to get better than the last! This is a great box for a beauty connoisseur that wants to experience the most luxurious products that clean beauty has to offer. As I mentioned in my previous Mapleblume post, this box is expensive, but the cost of the products is generally WELL over the cost of the box. For instance, this month the retail value of all the products in the box would be over $204, but the cost to subscribe to the box is about $95 US. Pretty great, right? Well, I can’t wait to show you all the goodies that were packed into the August Mapleblume box!
Suntegrity Face Sunscreen & Primer SPF 30
I’m a devoted Suntegrity fan and most of you know I’m loyal to their SPF face products, so of course I was so excited this was included. I’ve NEVER burnt with Suntegrity, even spending a whole day out in the sun without reapplying (which I know is skincare heresy). This product is fairly moisturizing so you may be able to get away with using it on it’s own without additional moisturizers. It has a light, fresh scent and the ingredients are out of this world. Some of the star ingredients are Astaxanthin, aloe vera, cucumber, green tea, and Hyaluronic acid. Like a lot of mineral sunscreens, it can be a little white going on, but it actually rubs in fairly easily and doesn’t leave a white cast.
Mabrook & Co Clean Deodorant
Another line I’m very familiar with! This was one of the first natural deodorants I ever reviewed and I still think it’s a great one. It’s moisturizing, comes in great scents and the baking soda and essential oil blend helps to keep odor at bay. Another plus is that it comes in a twist up stick that’s reminiscent of traditional deodorant, so those making the switch won’t be turned off (some natural deodorants come in pots and you spread it on with your fingers).
Luna Nectar Moonstone Tonic
This is an organic eyelash enhancing serum and it’s the first time I’ve ever tried any type of eyelash growth product. I’ve only been using it for a couple of weeks, but the last couple of days I noticed my eyelashes are slightly longer. I have to admit, I was pretty excited when I noticed since normally my eyelashes are quite puny. It’s all natural and I’m not sure how much of an effect it will have, but I’m really excited to see!
Abbey Lane Farm Body Oil
This line is new to me, but I was instantly impressed with how light the body oil is and the beautiful scent. At first, it’s overwhelmingly vanilla, but it quickly settles down to a light, refreshingly herbal scent with a hint of sweetness. The best part is how easily it absorbs in, leaving my skin smooth and hydrated.
Ilia Cheek To Cheek Multi-Stick
Another brand I love! Ilia makes some of the most gorgeous clean makeup products around and I happen to love their multi-sticks. They’re great for a simple routine since you can use them for blush, lip color or even eyeshadow if you wanted! This one is a pretty apricot color which gives a sunny look when I use it. I love using it as blush the most.
Geranium Orange Blossom Toner from Wildcraft
This first thing I noticed about this was how nice it smells! It’s bright and floral and just a happy scent all around. Witch Hazel helps to cool and calm skin, while aloe hydrates. This is a great mist to use to set your makeup or to use as a toner after you cleanse. It’s super cooling and hydrating- great for a hot summer’s day!
Calm Down Therapeutic Roll On Province Apothecary
I love a good roll on oil blend and this mama can always use a calming blend! This one smells nice and very relaxing. A blend of neroli, bergamot, Frankincense and Roman Chamomile gives it an herbal and very calming scent. I like to use this late afternoons when the kids seem to be going crazy and my to-do list is out of control!
Mapleblume is a bi-monthly box and you can sign up here if you’d like to subscribe. The August box sold out fast, so the next box will be in October. Also, be sure to head over to Instagram where I’ve teamed up with Mapleblume for a fun giveaway! xo
