March 1st is here bringing us a brand new Beauty Heroes Discovery. This month also happens to feature a new brand for both Beauty Heroes and for me! Free + True is the star this month and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how lovely and effective the products are. Let’s dive in to the March Beauty Heroes Discovery + a very special launch you get first dibs at!

The Hero

A truly unique product, the Body Prophet is a lovely, creamy serum that both hydrates and moisturizes. It comes in a generously sized glass bottle with a pump, which I love for this type of product.If you’re wondering what a body serum is like, to me it’s almost a hybrid between a lotion and a rich body oil. The creamy texture helps it apply easily and it sinks into skin almost immediately like a lotion, but it also keeps my skin moisturized for hours like a rich body oil. It’s the best of both worlds!

Usually when you hear the word serum you also know that it’s packed with beneficial ingredients and that’s definitely the case here! Ingredients like aloe leaf juice, pumpkin seed oil, calendula, and more all make this a treat for skin. It has a very nice slightly herbal, slightly floral scent.

The Sidekick

Mama Pacha Moisture Infusion Cream helps protect, improve texture, and support elasticity. This velvety cream applies like a lotion but it is very moisturizing. I find that 1 pump is enough for my face. Although I’ve found it to have lasting moisture, you can also top it with a face oil to seal in all the hydration and moisture from Mama Pacha.

The ingredients include some incredible things like Arctic peptides, Gotu Kola, and beta glucan, as well as more well known ingredients like mango seed butter, aloe leaf juice, and nettle extract. I think this is a nice alternative to oils and balms if you still need something more moisturizing, but perhaps want something with a slightly lighter texture. It has a really lovely scent with notes of jasmine, bergamot, and ylang ylang, but since some of you are sensitive to stronger scents, I’ll share that this one is on the stronger side. Though it seems to dissipate down to a more subtle scent pretty soon after applying.
