Sometimes you come across a brand that you just connect with. This month’s Clean Beauty Box features a brand that immediately drew me in with their story and purpose. Not only is the brand’s story very inspiring, but the two products in the March Clean Beauty Box are lovely!
Beneath Your Mask is founded by Dana Jackson and you can read her full story here (it’s very moving and worth reading!), but the short version is that her entire life was upended by an autoimmune disorder that nearly took her life. In the process, it stripped her of the things we take for granted every day and in the end, she had to walk away from her old life entirely to start her healing journey. Her faith in God and some dedicated people brought her through it all.

Ultimately, seeing the effects of her illness on her skin and hair, plus knowing how harmful conventional products can be, drove her to create a pure but potent line of products. One look at her today, you’d never know how ill she once was. She’s beautiful and glowing!
The March Clean Beauty Box
Indulge
A truly indulgent body oil that utilizes some of the best botanical ingredients to restore and heal skin. It’s formulated to match skin’s natural lipid balance so it absorbs fast and really melts into skin. It makes my skin feel so soft without a hint of oiliness. Some of the star ingredients are baobab seed oil, white Camilla seed oil, pomegranate seed oil, and more. The oil has a very subtle earthy scent. It’s very pleasant but subtle enough to please those who don’t like strongly scented products. ($90 value)
Nourish
This light, brightly scented oil is a multi-tasker and can be used on your hair, face or anywhere your skin needs some extra protection and moisture. The blend of oils is designed to balance moisture levels, restore elasticity, and heal your skin. I love the slight citrus scent and once again, how easily it merges with my skin. The formula includes hemp seed oil which is one of my favorite oils in blends. It always absorbs in quickly. ($24 value)
