May Beauty Heroes With Bathing Culture
The May Beauty Heroes Discovery features a groovy, ’70s-inspired line, Bathing Culture. This colorful line is brand new to me but I love how unique and fun the line is and I think we could all use something bright and fun right now! With an emphasis on getting back to the basics of bathing, let’s dive into this month’s discovery!
Bathing Culture
The Hero
Mind and Body Wash– This is next level body wash. With a blend of organic and Rainforest Alliance-certified saponified coconut, olive and sunflower oils, plant glycerin from soy bean and creamy shea butter this formula not only cleanses skin, but also moisturizes and softens it. The scent is gender-neutral and combines balsam, vetiver, ylang ylang, ho wood and frankincense. Overall it has a woodsy vibe.
I love how large the bottle is and of course, using plastic-free packaging is always a win. Because it is such a large glass bottle I’ve opted to use it as hand soap instead of taking it into our shower. The shower floor is sloped towards the drain and I don’t feel comfortable with it in the rack super high up by the shower head, on the off chance it would fall and I’d be stranded with broken glass all over. If you have a flat area where it can’t fall, this would work the best.
The Sidekicks
Outer Being Face and Body Oil– This is such a nourishing oil that really moisturizes well. It combines sea buckthorn, marula, jojoba, and coconut MCT oils to really give lasting moisture. I love the glass bottle (especially for this product). This also has more of a woodsy scent.
Golden Hour Hydrosol– This may be one of the sidekicks but I think it may be my favorite from this month’s discovery! I absolutely love that it has both neroli and rose, two of my favorite scents. The sprayer mists out the perfect amount and this is such a refreshing pick-me-up!
