Your Perfect Skin With Odacité
I’ve always been intrigued by Odacité‘s minimal-chic products. Mostly because I’ve heard tales of the amazing results that people have had with their skin while using it, claiming it solved their every skin woe.. But honestly, anytime I read a review or glanced at the products online, I wasn’t quite sure where to start with brand. Turns out, it was much simpler than I thought at first glance. The coolest thing about this brand is that you can overhaul your whole routine with their products or you can incorporate targeted products into your existing routine. This is huge for me! I mean sometimes you really just don’t want to give up your beloved moisturizer, right? Whether you just incorporate one or two of their serums with your regular moisturizer or if you completely makeover your routine with Odacité, you end up with a customized routine that works on your skin’s specific issues. I think that concept is so genius and much needed in the skincare world. I already knew the line was very clean ingredient-wise and as I’ve gotten to know more about the brand, the more impressed I am.
Odacité was founded by Valerie Grandury, who was born and raised in Paris and later moved to California. From what I’ve learned about Valerie, she seems like an incredible person. After being diagnosed with breast cancer she decided to reevaluate her whole life and then quit her job and went back to school to become a health and wellness coach. In her journey to healing and eliminating toxins from her life she knew that when it came to skincare, it had to be completely pure and actually work. Easier said than done, right? Well with that in mind, she started blending her own skincare for herself and others, which then grew into Odacité.
What makes Odacité so special (besides the awesome ingredients), is that you can create your own customized skincare routine for your specific needs. It’s so easy too. So they have a complete skincare line- cleanser, mist, masks, etc., but on top of that, they have a line of Serum Concentrates called Pure Elements that each address a specific skin need and boy, do they cover all your bases! The great thing about the serums is that you can mix and match them according to your own skin and they can be mixed into your existing moisturizer or you can use theirs. Just a couple of drops are enough to do the trick.
I’ve wanted to try Odacité for a while, so serendipity happened when I was asked to try the line and I was so excited to be able to address some specific issues for my skin. After some back and forth on my skin type, I was sent CaR Vital Glow Serum to treat aging and wrinkles and BI+C Pimples Serum for breakouts and clogged pores (my skin is so glamorous, I know). They also sent along their Discovery Kit which was appreciated since I was able to try a few other serums that I was interested in. Including all the different combos I tried with the Discovery Kit, it took me a few months to try this line. I really wanted to explore what each serum could do on it’s own and when it’s combined with others. Overall, I definitely think the CaR and BI+C Serums combined are the best match for my skin. I tried them combined with some of my own moisturizers and also with the sample of the Odacité moisturizer included in the Discovery Kit, which by the way I really loved- I’m tempted to buy the full size if I can ever wade through my current moisturizers. As far as the serums, I felt like they all worked pretty fast. Even the smaller sample sizes were making an impact on my skin before they ran out. The CaR Vital Glow Serum definitely makes my skin feel smoother and look more vibrant and I love the light, upbeat smell (you can definitely get a hint of fresh carrots). The BI+C has done a great job of keeping my hormonal breakouts at bay and keeping my skin clear in general. I will offer the disclaimer that I’m not super breakout prone but I do get some pesky breakouts around my cycle and some when I’m stressed. I can’t testify to how this would work for someone with lot’s of breakouts.
Overall, I’m really sold on the concept of this line. Being able to add in targeted skincare solutions into your routine is a game changer. If you’re interested in the line I highly suggest the Discovery Kit as a starter, but if you know your skin issues, you really can’t go wrong with a serum targeted for those concerns. You can order direct from Odacité or TheDetoxMarket.com carries their line. Here’s to your perfect skin! xo
Hello, I also love this brand~ However, re the CaR serum, I was told that if it ever turns an amber/ gold color (as your photo shows), that is has oxidized! No good and not good for your skin. So just FYI…
