Serendipity And The Pimple

Serendipity- It’s is when you stumble upon a pleasant surprise or unexpected greatness. That’s exactly what happened when Osmia Organics’ Spot Treatment came into my life. You may remember awhile back when I wrote this post, and talked about some natural blemish remedies. I mentioned Osmia’s Spot treatment as a kind of side note. I almost didn’t even bring it up since I’d never tried it myself, but this little guy gets so much love from the green beauty community that I felt I had to at least mention it. Long story short, Osmia Organics reached out to see if I would like to actually try it, along with some of their other goodies and man, was I blown away by this product!

First off, the timing couldn’t have been better. The day it arrived, I had a huge pimple erupt on my face. I don’t break out much, but when I do, it’s like a big glaring red light on my face. I immediately put this on and I kid you not, by the next morning it was completely gone. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve never had a blemish treatment work so fast! All those years using the tubes of chemical creams and none of them ever zapped a pimple as quickly as this did.

It’s packaged in a small glass bottle with a roller-ball applicator. When it first goes on, it feels a little oily. I’m not going to lie, the oiliness made me doubt this product (sometimes I still have a hard time accepting that oils are good for breakout prone skin, even though I know the right oils are good). It absorbed quickly though and obviously went to work fast. One of the best parts for me is the smell. As much as I love natural scents, sometimes I feel like if I smell anything else with Tea Tree Oil in it, I’m going to loose it. And I mean that in the best possible way :). This smells lovely and the ingredients say why: Evening primrose oil, Essential oils of lavender, cajeput, lemon, parsley, thyme, cypress, and Rosemary CO2. Sounds amazing, right?

Some other standouts from what they sent me were the Luz Enzyme Facial Soap which quickly cleanses and removes makeup without making my face feel tight like most bar soaps have in the past and also the Facial Calibration Serum, which was great under my lotion. It truly makes my combination skin feel more evened out, with the drier areas feeling more moisturized and my t-zone feeling less oily. I have a new-found love for Osmia Organics and this Spot Treatment has already become a part of my regular skincare arsenal. Have you tried Osmia Organics yet?

  1. Lovely review! I received a generous sample of Zucca Spice soap earlier in the year when I had a green beauty swap with Tammy from Rainbow Feet which was great. Lasted ages too! Have yet to try anything else but the Spot Treatment seems like a must-have product for when those nasty little pimples show up. Also looking at one of the facial soaps, either Luz or Black Charcoal.

  2. Thanks so much! I’m liking the Luz soap but really want to try the black charcoalif this ever runs out.. I’ve hardly made a dent in it! The spot treatment is so good! I’m glad you got your hands on some in the swap 🙂
