True Nature Botanicals Haircare

By now, I’m sure you’ve heard the news that True Nature Botanicals launched their haircare a few months ago. It’s no mystery that I love True Nature Botanicals. I wrote about some of their skincare here, but in short, they create luxurious products using high quality ingredients and that means you get some of the most potent and best quality products around from them. I love their commitment to keeping things pure, while also using experts, like french perfumers and conducting blind research studies to gauge results. All in all they have been one of the brands I have been most impressed with in the natural beauty world. So of course, I was thrilled to try their Shampoo and Conditioner out.

TNB Haircare

I try not to have any set expectations with natural shampoos and conditioners anymore, honestly. They are all so different and frankly, this has been one area that I’ve had the most trouble finding natural replacements for. I have a few brands that I really like.. Even some that I love, but none that have really been directly comparable to their not so natural counterparts. Most either leave my hair too oily or super dry. It’s disappointing there aren’t better choices since conventional haircare products are often some of the worst offenders, full of harsh cleansing agents, synthetic fragrance, phthalates and chemical preservatives. Well True Nature Botanicals’ Shampoo and Conditioner really do work and after a few months of testing on and off, (dare I even say it?) I may have found my Holy Grail Shampoo and Conditioner.

TNB ingredients

It’s impossible to talk about these products without first talking about the packaging. Definitely eco-chic and ultra convenient, these recyclable metal bottles have a pump for easy use in the shower. They have a universally appealing look and the scent follows suit, making it a great unisex haircare line. It’s a fresh, clean scent that’s light enough to not overwhelm you. The shampoo lathers. It LATHERS people! If you’ve ever tried natural shampoo, then you know what a big deal that is. It manages to cleanse your hair well without stripping it and the conditioner has also struck a perfect balance by moisturizing your hair without weighing it down. That is also quite a feat. Most natural conditioners that can give my hair adequate moisture, also tend to leave it feeling heavy and dull. They’ve gone to great trouble to research and source the ingredients they use for these. From finding a nontoxic preservative to making sure it lathered really well, they took their time and did their research and the results are phenomenal. Between the ingredients and the performance, these have won my heart.

My hair is loving this set. You can buy them directly from True Nature Botanicals for $32 each. They offer 10% when you sign up for their email list.
