Aviva Pure

Happy Summer everyone! Can you believe June is almost over? This summer is just flying by. There’s so much I want to do with the kids and get done around the house and I haven’t even started. I need to get on my to-do list! Today I wanted to share a brand with you that’s really committed to making natural products without using any synthetic ingredients, all while thinking outside the box with the extraction methods they use for their oils.

Aviva Pure Lip scrub

Aviva Pure was founded by Matt Dye and after researching ancient beauty traditions, he strived to provide truly organic beauty products. I’ve been trying the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Lip Scrub and Organic Coconut Cream. The lip scrub is delicious. It’s embarrassing to admit, but I kind of want to eat it. It smells (and tastes) just like the cinnamon sugar toast my mom used to make me as a kid. It really does a good job of exfoliating your lips and the cinnamon adds a slight plumping effect. This is a nice product to use before an event when you’re going to be wearing lipstick or anytime those lips need some smoothing out. I don’t wear lipstick daily (with exception to a couple of lighter nude/pink shades), but if I’m going for a bolder shade this is a must for a smooth application.

The Coconut Cream is a nice, high quality coconut oil. I’ll recap, but you may remember from my Cocovít post that any type of heat that is applied during the oil extraction can actually destroy the precious enzymes and properties that help to give coconut oil it’s anti-microbial, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial properties. Not a big deal if you’re cooking with it (after all, it will get heated while you cook), but if you’re using coconut oil for skincare or haircare, you don’t want to lose out on those benefits. Aviva Pure’s method uses centrifuge for extraction and absolutely no heat, which keeps the oil and all of it’s properties completely intact. You can use it on the whole family. I not only use it as a moisturizer and hair mask, but it’s also a gentle moisturizer for babies and toddlers and can help to heal skin rashes and even diaper rashes. Coconut oil has hundreds of uses!

Interested in trying it out for yourself? Aviva Pure was generous enough to offer my reader’s 15% off with code: AVIVAPURE15%. And both items are on sale right now, so get on it. Hope you all have wonderful week! xoxo
