Beauty Heroes: 5 Years Of Bringing You The Best

FIVE whole years ago Beauty heroes launched (anyone remember their first name? Spa Heroes!) and they reset the game of subscription beauty in the clean/green beauty space! Prior to that, it was mostly boxes with a hodgepodge of small sample-sized products, but they swooped in, curating the best of the BEST products and making sure you got the full size so you could spend enough time with the product to truly see if you love it. The Sidekick each month often rivals the Hero product, and while it’s not always full size, they make sure that it’s a very generous travel size.

I’m honored to have been an ambassador for Beauty Heroes for much of that time (this blog just had a 5 year anniversary this summer as well!). Over the years they’ve continued to fine-tune everything they do and keep improving. From looking for more sustainable shipping materials to providing more green options for your lifestyle, they’ve continued to zero in on their mission. They even just opened their first retail location in CA!!

Josh Rosebrook Cacao Antioxidant Mask

This is a Hero product for a good reason! It’s such a skin saver. It helps to clear and detoxify your skin, but the cacao and other stimulating ingredients also help to increase circulation, which in turn helps to heal skin, improve moisture, and much, much more. It’s been one of my favorites for years now and Josh Rosebrook was the brand in the very first Beauty Heroes box that I reviewed! You can leave it on up to 45 minutes, but Josh will tell you himself, it’s best not to let it (or any mask) fully dry as that dries your skin out.

Laurel Skin Sun Serum

Ahh, another longtime favorite! (Of course, because this month is filled with the best of the best!)

Laurel is one of those brands that puts so much heart and intention into their products and it shows. The Sun Serum helps prevent and repair damage from time in the sun and all of their serums are full of some of the best botanical ingredients with proven research on their benefits. They’re very rich and you’ll notice the deep amber color right away. This is deeply moisturizing and absorbs in nicely. This comes as the 10 mL size.

LILFOX KALAHARI Eye Serum

Love the rollerball applicator on this! Not to mention, all of LILFOX’s products look so pretty and chic on your shelf. The ingredient list is a who’s who of the best cold-pressed oils. Watermelon seed, argan, prickly pear, and more. Seriously… THE best. All in one little applicator. I love how moisturizing this is!

Ayuna Cream II

Wow. Okay, so I have to point out that Ayuna is definitely one of the pricier brands out there, but everything they make is next level. They’ve taken the best natural ingredients and made science their BFF when it comes to formulating. There’s nothing else like this brand. I’ve so enjoyed getting to know the line and try their various products through Beauty Heroes!

Honua Skincare Aloha Youth Serum

This beautiful Hawaiian Brand not only has lovely products, but they’ve made it part of their mission to protect the beaches and oceans starting on their island. That is really the heart behind their line. This milky serum packs a punch with hydration and locally sourced ingredients that work!
