Blissoma Skincare

Recently, I’ve had the pleasure of trying Blissoma Skincare‘s reformulated deodorant and a couple of their face masks. To be honest, I was a little hesitant about trying the deodorant. I’ve just tried sooooo many natural deodorants and a lot of times it hasn’t ended well, especially with solid versions- I’ve only found a couple that I actually thought worked: Sempiira and Mabrooke. I went ahead and gave it a shot anyway and was I surprised!

Blissoma Deodorant

I’ve felt more comfortable using a cream natural deodorant, simply because I’ve had better luck with them. Most people prefer a solid deodorant understandably, and even I have those hectic mornings when I reach for one of my solid choices so I can just swipe and go. Also, I have been eager to give you all more options for solid deodorants since that’s what I mostly get requests for. I had my fingers crossed that I could add Blissoma to the list of solids that actually keep you smelling fresh all day long and I’m happy to report that it absolutely worked!

This unscented, twist-up stick gets points both for being easy to use and not conflicting with other scents you’re wearing or being too gender specific. It’s grey but it goes on sheer. Unlike some other solid versions I’ve tried, there is no oily residue left after you apply it either. It definitely lasts all day (even on the hot, sticky days we’ve had here in NC recently). I need to point out that it’s made with baking soda, like a lot of other natural deodorants. It is a highly effective ingredient but certain people may be sensitive to it so don’t use it immediately after shaving. Most people do fine with baking soda and as I said before, it is very effective at keeping you smelling great. $14.99

I was so impressed with both of the face masks I tried as well! They sent their Refine Mask and Lavish – Loving Recovery Beta-glucan Mask for me to try. The Refine Mask is a clay based mask blended with herbs and minerals and it really cleans out your pores. It has a slightly gritty texture to offer some exfoliation going on, but once it’s on your face herbs like Willowbark dissolve dead skin cells. My favorite part is that it’s premixed (a lot of clay masks aren’t and you have to add the water yourself and I never can get the proportion right). The Lavish Recovery Mask is a moisture mask- and I could have used it daily this past winter! It seriously hydrates your skin leaving it soft and supple. Ingredients like oatmilk and beta-glucan from mushrooms help calm skin and add moisture. It’s very creamy and easy to apply. $33.99 each

This was my first experience with Blissoma (aside from a sample of their old deodorant I received in a sample box months ago) and I truly was impressed with all three products. Want to try it for yourself? Blissoma is offering my readers free shipping on any order that contains one of their deodorants (solid or spray) until June 17th. Just use code: naturaldeobliss. Hopefully this gives you another deodorant option to help you through the summer months!  xoxo
