The Hero

The hero this month is a brand new launch from Honua! The Māhealani Moonlit Glow Balm is a beautiful blend of macadamia and kukui nut oils, along with illipe and liliko’i seed butter, vetiver root oil and of course, blue tansy flower oil. The scent leans more toward blue tansy being the dominant scent, which I love.

The balm is rich and has a silky feel as it melts into your skin. You could use it anytime, but personally, I like using it at night to seal in moisture after I’ve applied a serum. With fatty acids to moisturize and vitamin A, carotenoids, and linoleic acids, it does a great job of nourishing skin! This normally retails for $82.

The Sidekick

Līhau Refreshing Face Mist is the perfect sidekick to this month’s hero! This mist adds in hydration while prepping your skin to be moisturized. Aloe, Neroli flower oil, hyaluronic acid, blue tansy, and sandalwood hydrosol all work together with anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. The strongest note in the scent is sandalwood. I love how you can see some blue flecks in it from the blue tansy! The size included this month usually retails for $18.
