Flourish Natural Body Care

As you guys know by now, I’m pretty picky about how products smell (I’m definitely such a scent person) and absolutely love finding a brand that has unique and really enjoyable scents. Add on to that a founder that’s just as picky about ingredients as I am about scents, and I’m pretty much sold. I mean, when you say locally Vermont-farmed, wildcrafted, all natural ingredients, it’s enough to make any green beauty’s heart flutter!  That’s partially why Flourish Natural Body Care caught my attention, but more than that, their commitment to sourcing the best ingredients and how open and transparent (and super nice) the founder Kirsten Connor is, totally won me over.

Flourish

Flourish is made in Vermont and whenever possible, Kirsten sources the ingredients locally. Obviously, Vermont is not a tropical environment and certain things can’t be grown or produced there, so whenever that is the case, they go out of their way to source fair-trade ingredients and Ecocert approved ingredients. Kirsten was very open to questions about the ingredients she choose and why she decided to use them, which I really appreciate, especially since I kept asking more in-depth questions about that! And most importantly, all the products work well and smell amazing. I usually prefer balms or oils for moisturizers, but these are so moisturizing and smell so wonderful that the lotion and creme became fast favorites, along with some other products!

Flourish scrub

Patchouli Tangerine Sugar Body Polish

At first glance at the label, I wasn’t sure if I would love this scent or not (being honest, Patchouli can go either way for me), but upon scooping it out, I quickly warmed up to the deep, androgynous scent. It’s just deep enough without being too overwhelming and it smells so good, I could see making a body spray with the same scent. The scrub quickly and gently exfoliates without leaving an oily mess in the shower, which scores major points with me. $23.99

Flourish honey blossom

Honey Blossom+Marshmallow Root Hand+Body Wash

Conveniently packaged with a pump (have I mentioned how much I like pumps?), this body wash lightly lathers and rinses clean, leaving behind a soft subtle scent. Most natural body washes either lightly lather or don’t really lather, but I think it’s nice to have a little bit. The scent not too sweet, but just sweet enough with a bit of vanilla and honey. I like that it’s also not too overwhelming. It has a great price too! $15

Honey Blossom + Marshmallow Root Hand + Body Lotion

With the same scent as the hand and body wash above, but with just a slightly more noticeable scent (perhaps because you don’t rinse it off), this hand and body lotion quickly has become something I reach for more and more. I love the frosted glass container and of course, the pump. Sometimes I need more than a lotion in the winter, but this actually has proven to be extremely hydrating and long lasting. The first ingredients are Vermont honey and Marshmallow root extract, and both of those lend a lasting moisture barrier and help condition the skin, so no wonder it offers up so much moisture. $28

Flourish creme

Rosewood Infusion+Angelica Body Creme

Ok, the scent alone would have made this one my favorite, but the deep hydration and elegant frosted glass jar, sealed the deal! Flourish makes their own infusions and for this they used an Angelica herbal distillation combined with rosewood and black pepper essential oils. Yes, to all of that! It smells amazing! Another thing I love, is that this is a true creme. It has a nice lightly, creamy texture and absorbs into skin right away. Organic cocoa butter and jojoba oil leave long lasting moisture. A little goes a long way! $34

Since I know you want to try some of this Vermont goodness for yourselves, Flourish has generously offered my readers 20% off and some extra samples with your order! Just use code MAISONPUR. They also have a line of haircare products so be sure to check those out too! xo

  1. Molly!
I am so, so happy that you enjoyed the scents you tried. Over the years I have found that people are naturally drawn to scents that reflect their personality and I think in this case you gravitated to sweet&gentle(Honey Blossom), elegant&feminine(Rosewood Infusion), earthy&sensual(Patchouli Tangerine).
Thank you so much for sharing our scents and our passion for ingredients with your readers.
