New month, new year, new decade! That also means new Beauty Heroes. I was so pleased to see the January Beauty Heroes Discovery feature RANAVAT Botanics for the first time. You may remember that I had the pleasure of reviewing their line this last year and I knew right away it was special. The founder, Michelle Ranavat, managed to carefully infuse ancient Indian beauty traditions into a very timeless and effective line. From the beautifully done packaging to the immersive scents (where are my jasmine lovers at??), you can’t help but slow down and enjoy a little moment of self-care.

The Hero

It takes a lot to earn the title of the Hero Product, especially for a cleanser. But Luminous Ceremony Cream Cleanser fully lives up to it’s hero status! Talk about a dream cleanser that gives you all the benefits of a foaming cleanser and the gentleness of an oil or cream. This creamy cleanser gently erases makeup, oil, and grime, then it rinses completely clean. It doesn’t strip skin at all, but does truly leave skin feeling clean. With a lovely rose scent, sesame oil and manjistha root get to work behind the scenes cleansing and nourishing skin. (normally retails for $42)

The Sidekicks

This month has not one, but TWO sidekicks. The first is Radiant Rani Brightening Facial Serum. This powerhouse serum is all active ingredients, with no carrier oils. It only has ingredients with a purpose to treat your skin. One of the stars of the ingredient list is saffron, which works wonders with hyperpigmentation, cell repair, and slowing down skin’s aging process. It has a very lovely scent- a mix of deep florals with a just hint of spice.

Radiant Rani is very moisturizing, so I only need a pump for my whole face. Unless I’m feeling very dry, I don’t need any other moisturizer after I’ve applied it, since it moisturizes so deeply and it leaves my skin feeling very soft and smooth. (normally retails for $90)

The next sidekick is the Jasmine Tonique. As a Jasmine lover, this one may be my favorite! You can use it as a toner after cleansing, a quick hydration refresher during the day, or you can use it to mix with masks or other products. The Jasmine Hydrating Tonique has just one sole ingredient: Pure jasmine officinale. It isn’t diluted or mixed with anything so that you get the full benefits of the jasmine inside. Jasmine hydrates, works as an antiseptic, promotes healing, and so much more. I think anyone would agree, that the scent is the best part! (normally retails for $40)
