January Glowing Beets
This year is off and running, and my favorite subscription boxes have been rolling in. I’m still not quite sure how it’s already February, but before we get too far into the month I need to share the January Glowing Beets box! I love them for their mix of products and this month we got quite a wide variety, from skincare to body care and a non-beauty product as well. A quick note for those who subscribe- There was a delay at customs for one of the items that was supposed to be included, so Glowing Beets had a last minute swap. The Fitglow lipstick (which I love) will be included next month, and this month we received an extra item instead. The box still pulled together nicely and I can’t wait for Fitglow to come in my next box. So, on to this month’s box. Here’s what was inside:
Scandic Botanica Rosehip Highlighter
This is my first experience with this brand and I really like the packaging, along with the simple and gentle ingredients. This highlighter isn’t shimmery as you may expect. Instead, it gives your skin a dewey glow. It’s pretty much a balm consistency and you swipe it where you want a little lit from within glow. The ingredients are simply shea butter, rosehip seed oil, and jojoba oil, so it’s perfect even for those with sensitive skin. It really doesn’t have much of a scent either so it won’t compete with your other products.
Freerange Skincare Hand & Body Lotion
This is an interesting line, which has made a mission out of rehabilitating battery hens and their lotions include eggs from their own free-range hens. The lotion has a sweet lavender scent, really moisturizes deeply, and keeps hands feeling smooth. Maybe it’s the egg? This may be the first body product with egg I’ve tried, but I’m impressed with how soft my skin feels.
Modicum Skincare Essential Travel Kit
This kit gives you a great feel for the Modicum line and really includes everything you need for a complete routine so you can really see how your skin likes this line. Included in the set is their gentle foaming cleanser, exfoliating powder and their essential serum. The whole line is very gentle and great for healing for those with problematic skin. This is truly a three product routine, as the serum is moisturizing enough that you don’t need any additional moisturizers (even eye cream). Plus the cute pouch it comes with is perfect for travel!
Davids Toothpaste
Last, but not least, is Davids Premium Natural Toothpaste. You can read my recent full review here. I love when Glowing Beets includes everyday essentials and lifestyle products in the mix.
This month’s box had a wide variety with a little something for everyone. The cat’s already out of the bag on one of the products for next month (I know you lipstick lovers are excited!), so if you’d like to sign up you can subscribe here. What are some of your favorite products to receive in your subscription boxes? Happy February everyone! xoxo
