Mettā Skincare: Your Skin’s New BFF

I’m torn between what words to use to start this post.. Obsession? Addicted? Usually when I’m at a loss for words, it’s a bad sign. I know it’s time to shelf the products and they’re probably not worth sharing with my readers. This time, however, it’s because I can’t decide the best way to let you know that you need to stop what you are doing and get some of this in your life right now. Seriously. You all know that I try a lot of products. If I were to give an award for the product I fell in love with the hardest in 2015, I think these two products from Mettā Skincare would have it. And that says a lot because I’ve discovered quite a few favorites this year.

Mettā Skincare

Mettā Skincare is a line from Melbourne, Australia that has crafted the most lovely line of skincare products. They’re not only committed to giving back, but they work hard to ensure all of their ingredients are grown and harvested in the sustainable and skillful manner. They’re all about showing your skin some love and using the best ingredients to do so. I was fortunate enough to try both the Hand Balm and the Body Butter and I’ve never fallen in love faster for a product line.

Metta body butter

Body Butter

Heaven in a jar. This body butter has the most decadent texture. It’s like whipped butter frosting. It somehow manages to be light as air and be super dense all at the same time. I have the vanilla scent and I can’t get enough of it. It has a very light scent, which when mixed with the smell of the oils and butters, becomes this intoxicating indulgence. It melts right into your skin and leaves it feeling super moisturized without being greasy. This contains rare organic Shea Nilotica Butter, along with organic grape seed oil, organic cacao butter and more. This is delightful on your skin and for all of your senses. I’ve never tried a body butter quite like it.

Metta Hand balm

Hand Balm

Just like the body butter, this hand balm seems to magically defy the laws of product consistency. It is a true balm but still manages to have a light, almost whipped feel. It smells lightly like Lavender and calendula and goes to work immediately by nourishing your hands and deeply hydrating them. I’ve been washing my hands way more often lately and with the colder weather, they’ve gotten dry. I use this through out the day and at night and I’ve seen a big difference. I’ve also used it on my heels and other dry places. It gives instant moisture to even the driest skin.

Mettā Skincare has generously offered my readers 30% off with code Maisonpur. Also, as if that wasn’t wonderful enough, head over to my Instagram where we are giving away both of the products featured here to one lucky winner!   With winter upon us, this is a great time to pick some up! xo
