Is there anything better than finding a new product that just makes you swoon? Trying out products is always fun, but when I come across one that I instantly fall in love with or find myself coming back for more and more, then they instantly get an upgrade to my top drawer. There’s been a few of those lately and now that our love is solidified, it’s time to make it official!
If you’re not familiar with La Bella Figura and their makeup line, now is the time to get acquainted. This beautiful, luxury line of skincare and makeup is cruelty-free and nontoxic. On top of that, they have a stunning selection of makeup that seems to work on every skin tone. My current favorite from the line is their creamy Soothing Eyeshadow in Damn Elvia- a moody gray with violet undertones that can go on as sheer or dark as you’d like. I really love how you can build up the intensity and I also love the texture! Working with creamy, natural based beauty products can have a learning curve. Often they have natural oils that get softer with a bit of warmth. I’ve found using my finger to apply is best, as it makes the shadow melt a bit and go on smoother. Yes yes the BeautyCounter Lipsheers are everything you’ve heard and more! In all honesty, this Lipsheer in Petal was just a last minute add on to my order but I’ve found myself going back to this more and more until it’s almost become a daily staple. It does go on sheer, with just a hint of color. Just enough to make you look polished. The kicker? It lasts for hours! Seriously- I usually can still see it on even 4 hours later. Good lip moisture plus longevity make this a winner. They just came out with some new colors and I’m eager to give Nude a try!

Neal’s Yard Remedies is not a brand I’d heard of Before becoming acquainted with the lovely Amanda Sloan (@Tideandsummit on instagram). This organic, natural skincare brand has been around for decades in England but is relatively new stateside. Amanda is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met! She sent me a beautiful package full of samples of their top skin products. I never told her, but a tiny bit of lavender fell out of the package when I took everything out. It just sums up Amanda and it really warmed my heart. Of all the awesome products I tried, the Purifying Palmarosa Mattifier is one I can’t stop using! It really does control the oil in my T-Zone and keep the shine away. Some other favorites were the Baby Balm and Wild Rose Beauty Balm.

Last, but certainly not least- Aila Cosmetics Better Than Gel. Yes, I will continue to shout it from the rooftops that this is a product that has blown me away. My last manicure lasted 10 days with no chips thanks to this. I’ve loved their nail polishes for awhile now, but this is the icing on the cake! Read my full review here.
