On My Mind: Updates and Other Happenings

Hi lovelies! I always seem to have some randomness to ramble on about and none of it quite fits into it’s own post, so I present to you a round up of these odds and ends.

First, can we talk about Goodebox again?? They have been killing it with their boxes as of late. This month I received some of my favorite products in the box and even though I like to try new things, I also love having some sample sizes of my favorites on hand for travel. If you follow me on social media you may have seen the post above. I took the plunge and took advantage of a great sale at Beauteabar.com and purchased the Kjaer Weis highlighter in radiance. I love that it’s not too gold and not too pink or silvery. It’s a taupe color that really reads nicely on the skin. I’ll be doing a full review of some of my favorites from that line so far, but I’ll go ahead and admit that I’m pretty hooked! This makeup brand is expensive but everything I’ve tried has lived up to the hype and performed well. And the packaging is just soooo pretty..

Sometimes I struggle because I’m not able to sit down and complete as many posts in a week as I’d like, but part of it lately has been behind the scenes things taking place. I’m testing a lot of products and working with brands and even readers on things. I love getting your questions and feedback! Sometimes it requires a bit of research or sends me in a different direction as far as posts I’ve been planning, but I love how much I learn from the discussions I have with you all! Coming up soon, I will post my top baby and toddler products, more clean deodorant choices, and some amazing hair products I’ve been trying out. Sometimes I get requests for recipes or food ideas. Ugh, I am seriously the WORST cook. It’s an ongoing joke at my house about the smoke alarm going off every time I cook. It’s kind of true, but in my defense, I think the alarm is super sensitive. I mean, nothing’s ever on fire.. Just a little crispy. But I will work on some smoothie recipes and maybe just rounding up some healthier quick meal options.
