The August Edit
Nothing like the last long days of summer before it fades into fall. August happens to be my favorite month! Soaking up the last of the warm sunny days and the excitement for back to school and everything else fall brings. So I’ve rounded up my top picks for the final days of summer in The August Edit.

The August Edit
1- New from RMS: Cashmere Matte Eyelights. If you’ve tried the original eyelights, these are a creamy matte version that’s offered in some beautiful neutrals! Find it here.
2- If all of the summer fun in the sun has caught up with your hair, I have just the thing to give it some TLC. Newly launched from Innersense, the Repair Mask deeply hydrates and brings hair back to life.
3- Backpacks without the PFAS. Yes, many backpacks are coated to be waterproof and have the forever chemicals on them. (I shared some info here on PFAS.) While this brand is pricey, it’s good quality. Also, it should hopefully last for many years and maybe even get passed down. Plus, it’s sustainably made. Find it here.
4- Ilia created such a beautiful finishing powder that helps to set makeup while adding a subtle glow that blurs imperfections. The Soft Focus Finishing Powder has quickly become a staple for me. Check out their shades here.
5- A special launch from Laurel Skin that happens only once a year: The gorgeous Jasmine Hibiscus Hydrating Elixir C has so much botanical beauty packed in and treats your skin on many levels. If you love jasmine, you will love this. Get it here while they last.
6- Since I was just talking about makeup primers in a recent post, I’d be remiss not to share one of my favorites from RMS Beauty. It’s lightweight and applies easily and helps makeup stay locked in place, which is still very much needed in this last warm, humid month!
7- One more from Laurel- After a long summer soaking up sunshine, the perfect way to nourish your skin is their Sun Serum. It protects and repairs the damage your skin endured over the summer.
Happy August!
