Way back when, before I had a blog, I remember stumbling upon HollyBeth Organics on one of the only natural beauty blogs I knew about back then- OrganicBeautyTalk.com. At the time, I had been mostly using products I could find at natural grocery stores or from Amazon, since I hadn’t discovered many higher end natural brands yet, and I was really missing some of my higher end, department store beauty brands. Not that there’s anything wrong with some of the more affordable natural brands, but you know.. Sometimes a girl needs a little luxury in her life and using a product that’s beautifully packaged and works well is always something I look forward to. When I first read about HollyBeth Organics, I was instantly intrigued by how luxurious they sounded and put them on my list to try someday. Flash forward to now and I have my own blog and have tried quite a few higher-end natural brands, but still had yet to try HollyBeth Organics. Until now of course!

HollyBeth Organics 1

HollyBeth Organics stands out as one of a handful of brands that are actually certified USDA Organic. Everything they make meets their strict criteria of safe ingredients and is cruelty free as well (although they do use beeswax). I think their packaging also makes them stand out. Not only does it look gorgeous, but the elegant glass bottles and jars add to the overall feel of the line and easily recyclable. HollyBeth Organics sent me four products to try and they are each luxurious and such a pleasure to add into your everyday routine. I tried their Body Polish, Body Oil, Rose Geranium Face Moisturizer, and Eye Serum.

HollyBeth Organics Body Polish

Body Polish

You get the benefits of both a sugar and Dead Sea salts with this body scrub. The hefty glass jar houses a powerful exfoliator with a soothing scent. The Body Polish isn’t too oily (as some scrubs can be) and it rinses off well while leaving your skin smooth and soft, without leaving a mess in your shower. I only use scrubs maybe twice a week, but I very much look forward to using this, especially for the scent which is pleasant and soothing, as I mentioned above. The ingredients are: Sugar, Dead Sea salts, Sunflower seed oil, sweet orange oil, frankincense, and cardamom oil.

HollyBeth Organics Body Oil

Body Oil

I cannot get over this body oil. It certainly lives up to the luxurious feel of the packaging. The smell is soft, yet rich. It’s so hard to describe. A little herbal with some spicier notes, but it still manages to be feminine and even a little sensual. The oil itself is so nice. It absorbs into skin nicely leaving it moisturized and not sticky or greasy. I love massaging this on after a shower. It just feels a little extra pampering than your standard moisturizer. The ingredients are: sunflower seed oil, pumpkin seed oil (so good for your skin), apricot kernel oil, Litsea Essential oil, Ylang Ylang essential oil, and black pepper oil.

Rose Geranium Face Moisturizer

Rose Geranium Face Moisturizer

I was totally taken aback by the bright yellow color of the moisturizer! However, in the natural world, bright colors usually mean some strong, beneficial ingredients. Somewhere between a balm and a cream, this moisturizer easily sinks into your skin and gives really lasting hydration without making you oily. I can use it overnight with no oils or serums under it and still wake up with soft, hydrated skin. The scent is also nice. It’s kind of herbally, but very calming. It’s a relaxing scent before bedtime for me. The ingredients are: Camellia seed oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba seed oil, rosehip oil, beeswax, Seabuckthorn fruit oil, vitamin E, Rose Geranium Oil, and lecithin.

HollyBeth organics Eye Serum

Eye Serum

I’ve shared before that I don’t always love oils or oily serums for my eye area, with just a couple of exceptions. This is now on my list of exceptions and may even be one of my favorite eye treatments. While I’ve only used it for a few weeks (not long enough to see any longterm benefits), I have to admit that I was pretty blown away at how not puffy my eyes were when I woke up the first morning after I’d used it. I have always had puffy eyes and have just learned to live with the fact that they are extra puffy in the morning, so I had to do a double take the first time I used it! It has a metal roller ball applicator that helps in to glide onto your eye area and then I just gently pat any extra in. This also keeps your eye area VERY hydrated without being oily. I don’t know how it transforms from an oil and just absorbs right in, but it does. I can still feel how moisturized my eye area is in the morning as well. I haven’t tried using this under makeup, but I imagine it would sit well. The ingredients are: Camellia seed oil, rosehip seed oil, pomegranate seed oil, carrot seed oil, black cumin seed oil, rose geranium oil, and sandalwood oil.

If I had to pick a favorite, it may be the eye serum, but I honestly really enjoyed all four products. You can tell that HollyBeth Organics has really poured so much time and expertise into creating these and they all work very well. While the price is what I’d consider higher end, I think it’s actually quite reasonable for the quality of the products and even the overall feel of the line with the packaging and all. I look forward to trying more from HollyBeth Organics in the future. Have you tried this line? What are some of your favorites? xo
