Nature’s Touch: For Baby And Mommy
I couldn’t wait to introduce you all to this hand made line out of California, that features only pure, organic products for both mom’s and their babies, so you’re getting a rare saturday post! Nature’s Touch has a wide selection of products and all are completely safe for baby, and since you spend so much time in close contact with baby, it only makes sense that all the products that you use are safe for baby too. The love and care put into this handcrafted line can be felt while you’re using the products. Everything invokes a relaxing, tranquil feeling which is what all babies and their mamas need, right? I was able to try a few items and truly enjoyed experiencing this line and so did the kids! They may have enjoyed the Baby Bath Soak a little too much, but we’ll get to that. Here’s what I tried:
Spiced Coconut Pie Sugar Scrub
OK, this smells absolutely amazing! I kind of wanted to eat it. I mean, it’s all natural right? I resisted the urge to taste it, but this has been a decadent treat for my skin. It quickly exfoliates your skin and the consistency is just right- probably due to the coconut oil. Some sugar scrubs are a bit too oily for me and it makes them hard to use. This stayed intact mostly (no oil carrying off big clumps of scrub out of my palm before I can even start scrubbing) and did the job nicely. The best part is how amazing the whole bathroom smells when you use it! There are several sugar scrubs on their site and they all look like they would smell equally as amazing.
Pure Deodorant
I’m so picky with deodorants so I didn’t have high hopes, but this has actually been a nice surprise! It’s very moisturizing and easy to rub in. It does contain baking soda which can irritate me right after shaving, but this formula is gentle enough that I can put it on immediately after shaving and not get any irritation. It seems to do a good job at keeping me smelling fresh, but I haven’t had the chance to put it to the test in hot, humid weather yet. It started to warm up here, but then got cool again right when I started testing this. The true test will be using it during a North Carolina summer! This nice, gentle formula is doing great for now though.
Baby Bath Soak
This was my (and the kids’) favorite product. I intended to just try it on Annabelle who is getting to be not so much of a baby anymore since she just turned three! But she’s the closest thing I have. Carson walked in when I was her bath ready and saw me put the tea bag in the tub and begged for me to use one in his bath too. Both kid’s were so funny with them, gently squeezing them to release the ingredients and using the bag to wash themselves. It contains oatmeal, calendula flowers, chamomile flowers, lavender flowers, marshmallow root, and cocoa butter. The ingredients can actually cleanse and moisturize your little babe, so it’s all you need in the tub. It also releases such a pleasant, relaxing scent. Such a good idea to use this before bedtime, when you’re trying to wind your little ones down! It was tough to break it to the kids that we couldn’t use these every single bath. They were a bit heart broken, but it is a nice little treat to have sometimes- especially those nights we all need to calm down a little. Just sitting by the tub and inhaling the flowers and herbs was so relaxing for me.
I highly recommend all three products! Nature’s Touch also makes a Boo Boo Balm, Calming Cream and other products that are definitely worth checking out. The best part is, they have generously offered my readers 25% off in their shop with code: CALENDULA25. Happy shopping! xoxo
I’m always scared to try deo’s with baking soda in them too (burnt my armpits terribly once before…) That sugar scrub looks amazing! Thanks for sharing your latest clean finds 🙂
