On My Mind: New Product Love & Other Updates
Hi friends. Lot’s to talk about today! First up, I have to tell you about a couple of products that I have fallen hard for… You may remember from my ANFGB post, that (sadly) the only product I was able to purchase that night was Captain Blankenship’s Mermaid Sea Salt Hair Spray. Don’t get me wrong, there was plenty of swag to go around, but I came home pining for a few products I wished I had scooped up while I was there. The Mermaid Sea Salt spray definitely made up for some of what I missed out on though. We spent the last 8 days at the beach and I used this daily. Sometimes on wet hair, sometimes on dry hair and I even styled it with a curling iron. I loved the results! It definitely gives the beachy, textured yet soft waves that you think of with a sea salt spray. Plus it smells really nice. The ingredients: water, pacific sea salt, organic aloe vera gel, organic sea kelp extract, organic essential oils of palmarosa and rose geranium. Sounds lovely, right? I just read that beach waves are here to stay for another season, so I highly recommend grabbing a bottle of this!
Another recent favorite that I picked up at ANFGB is Alima Pure’s Eyebrow Pencil. I usually steer clear of pencils since I feel they look a little more fake than brow powders and also I’ve found that many read too warm on me. This one is much different though! It goes on really smooth and the color blends nicely. I’ve used it daily since I picked it up and I’m loving the fuller brows it gives me.
The next big event in the natural beauty/wellness scene is The WELL Summit, which is happening in Boston, MA November 6 & 7. The forum will be smaller breakout sessions where you have the chance to listen to top speakers from all different realms of the health and wellness world. I would love to attend this, but I’m not sure I will be able to this year due to a conflict in my schedule. It definitely looks like a worth while event to check out if you’re able to get there.
Lastly, the discount code for Aleavia Skincare for my readers expires September 1st, so get on it if you want to take advantage of the deal: Use code Maisonpur20. I LOVE their body wash. Also, the generous discount code for Butterfly Baby Organics is still in effect too. Use code Save25.
I’ll leave you with a bit of beach spam since I wish we were still frolicking out in the sun! Fall will be here before we know it :).
(I have to pretty much force my son to pose with me these days lol) Hope everyone has a great week!
